Since I can remember I have always been drawing. A picture of my

parents as stick figures wearing dungarees is hung above the door,

I must have been about 5 when I drew it. It is what I've always done

and will always be doing. It was always a hobby, but now as I'm

struggling to make enough money in order to save for a future of

travelling I decided to make some money out of it! I began my first

 commission in late October 2012, so I am still trying to get used to

the flow of it all and set myself up more professionally. I have been

getting such encouraging feed back from friends, family and even

colleagues. So I decided to build this site to help get things going.

Thank you so much for taking a look at it (I know it isn't the best,

I haven't ever made a website), it really means so much and I would

really appreciate any feedback from you.



ART  History

I don't have much of an official art history. I actually got an F in my Art GSCE! I love discovering things for myself, it's more exciting. I don't think you can really teach an artist, just inspire them. If someone tells me that the paint won't build up -"It's impossible to layer that kind of paint!"- I will build it up, haha.



Original Inspiration

When I grew up I was surrounded by odd things. My house looks more like a museum for collectable dolls and one off items. A shelf that follows the whole top of the living room is full of models from  Star Wars, Shrek, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Chucky (and his Bride), Living Dead Dolls, Alien, Predator and so many more! (I admit, when I was younger I did have a few nightmares). My dad had an old movie projector and we would watch old black and white horror films, freezing in the conservatory . My dad had an interest in 1950's pin-up also. So growing up listening to Rock'n'Roll and Reggae, watching horrors, thrillers and kung fu, scribbling down voluptuous pin-up girls and being surrounded by classic bikes is -I think- where it all began!
