Face Painting and Make-Up

If I have no commissions to complete or I'm not at work I'll crack out the face paints and usually make something kind of creepy looking (not always the direction I intend to go in, but it is what happens most of the time) It's interesting painting on a surface with so many different depths to it as well as being so curvy, a LOT different to a flat, white rectangle. Anyway, these are just for fun so enjoy!

The Painted Face I know it looks a little macabre, but it was close to Halloween. I didn't plan to do this, I was just inspired by some horror posters amongst other things. I found some clothes that could look kind of creepy in my wardrobe and painted my face up. That 'blood' spilling into the tea cup is just food colouring. Life Is A Joke	What Is Inside Looks a bit strange... haha	Day of the Dead Once again, just found inspiration from anywhere and everywhere. I didn't plan on doing this until about 5 minutes before it happened, just found a collar from an old dress and a flower I used in a clown costume previously. The dolls and masks in the background are just in my house anyway, I thought they made quite a nice background.
Skull Candy! A bit of 'Day of the dead' in this too! Was experimenting with my face paints at the time. It just came out of my head, haha.	Recurring Nightmares I have a lot of zombie dreams, so I made this after one of them. My zombie dreams are so intense, they would make great films! Haha!	The Painted Face II This is from the same set of photos I took for the previous photo (The Painted Face). But obviously I have edited it a little. You can see the mouth in more detail too.
Winter Months I was trying to go for a snow queen type theme here, however it became kind of macabre looking too. Maybe its the blue lips, haha.	Eye Eye This was make-up from the same time as the previous photo. I edited it using Photoshop too.
